Fourth major gold this year and keeping the LSC crown in French dominion: a more than good Texas trip for EG's Ilyes "Stephano" Satouri.

"Stephano is not unstoppable" said Axslav in an interview and he could not be farther from the truth. The Frenchman ploughed through i7's protoss with ease as well as BabyKnight, Ganzi and Crank to land in the grand final on the wings of a 8-0 inertia.

His opponent Bomber, on the other hand, could not have had a more different run. Losing in the second round to Violet, ST's terran fell down to the lower bracket where he was thrown what was the very best of the Lone Star Clash line-up. TheSTC, Naniwa, Ganzi, Violet once again and finally Crank all fell to Bomber who, too, ended up with a flawless record though in the lower bracket.

As one charging force met another, the first wave knocked Stephano back. Bomber had to win a Best of 5 to stay alive and after full five sets he did but this is where his spree ended. In the closing Best of 3, Stephano came out strong to keep the LSC crown on his head and add another $7,500 to his bank account.

Lone Star Clash 2 standings
