The two Swedish teams who came out on top of the 64-team BYOC event were Team Wahlin and World Wide Entertainment (JaGa), who took a surprising victory over Druidz Epsilon on their way to qualifying for group play.

The other source of excitement at S2 Games' DreamHack booth was the revealing of the new tournament circuit, HoN Tour. Powered by Beyond Gaming, HoN Tour will offer many levels of competition and $100,000 in prizes over the initial two month "Beta Season."

Says Marc "Maliken" DeForest, "Unlike many eSport competitions that focus on a single tournament, the HoN Tour circuit follows more closely to existing sports like the PGA and ATP. Each tournament is a different level, with different points and prizes. This allows fledgling teams the ability to work up the ranks, improve their game, prove themselves, and break through to the upper echelon of teams competing for the larger cash prizes and rankings."
