DreamHack has recently announced that their HD (720p) stream will be offered free to viewers. This is made possible by their new partnership with Justin.TV.
On April 12th, the DreamHack Stockholm Invitational will be streamed in HD to viewers worldwide for free. Casting for these games will be a trio of casters from the United Kingdom. James "2GD" Harding will be the official host of the event. Joining him will be Sharun "Apollo" Clark and Benjamin "Demuslim" Baker. Demuslim was injured earlier in the year and was forced to put his gaming to rest for a while.
The broadcast will start at 14:45 CET with a game is scheduled to start every hour starting from 15:00 CET. The Grand Final will be a best of five match scheduled to start at 21:00 CET. An additional surprise is also planned by SAPPHIRE, the head DreamHack sponsor. A 'SAPPHIRE 6K Series Dream' contest will be running alongside the live stream.
As previously reported by GosuGamers.net, the invitational tournament will feature a wide range of StarCraft 2 stars from all over the world. Participating in this tournament are:
