Season nine of the SuperCup tournaments, that emerged to a backbone of the competitive DotA landscape, will pay out $7,000, which is twice the amount of the last Intel Challenge. Further, the final matches of the tournament between the best four teams, will be held at the Cybersport Arena in Kiev on the 8th and 9th of October.
A variety of teams have been put together in the four pots of skill levels, representing the prominent elite of European DotA. One team of each pot form a group of four; the drawing decides who will clash and who will not.

Awaiting the teams after the drawing will be three best-of-two held groupstages, that will filter the best four teams, to fight in the play-offs of Kiev.
