With the first hurdle of getting an invite over, teams must now show their travel justification to the ESWC organizing committee in order to fully secure their spot at the Grand Finals. However some teams are struggling with to meet this final requirement. One such team is the Australian representative, MCiTY. Team MCiTY have thus issued an exclusive statement seeking for sponsors to send them to Paris.
Statement from Duy "Suppy" Phan, manager of MCiTY:
-"Team MCiTY representing Australia is currently looking for a co-sponsor to send us to ESWC. We are ready to prove ourselves and in return will do anything reasonable(requests/tasks) to provide recognition for the company. We are an experienced team having attended several major competitions. We have been preparing for this tournament and will continue to work extremely hard to achieve results. Kindly drop us an email at [email protected] if your interested in sponsoring us."
The team has been a consistent contender in the local and international scene. Winning major competitions held in Australia. But due to connection issues, their performance are less stellar when it comes to the international scene.
