Invictus Gaming punch their ticket to ESL One Frankfurt

The Chinese qualifiers for ESL One have come to a conclusive end as Invictus Gaming earn themselves a ticket to the main event in Frankfurt, Germany.

The gruesome Chinese qualifiers for ESL One has finally come to an end as Invictus Gaming edge out their compatriots LGD Gaming in a best-of-five series and earn themselves a ticket to the main event in Frankfurt, Germany. iG struck early by winning two consecutive games in quick fashion until LGD bounced back and won game three. However, iG was not rattled by the loss and swept off the series by winning the next game.

Whilst iG qualify for the main event, LGD and VG drop down to the Asian qualifiers where they have to contest for the last spot alongside six teams hailing from the SEA contingent. The Chinese qualifiers has rather been surprising as we have witnessed the fall of renowned teams such as DK and NewBee during the early stage by DT.NGC and LGD respectively.

On the other end, DT.NGC fought valiantly against Vici Gaming in the lower bracket but their efforts were not enough for them to qualify for the Asian qualifiers. The current seedings are temporary and might change accordingly once the new schedule is announced.

Also there is a exciting news for eSports fans as ESL One Franfurt is soon to hit the mainstream television in Germany by launching a new ad campaign on the Pro7Sat1 network. This comes as a great news and hints at eSports heading towards a new direction, and expanding beyond its normal horizons.
