Tomorrow, the Game Convention in Leipzig starts off, and we WarCrafters have a lot of interesting events to look forward to. We can look foward to both the European Nations Cup playoffs, and the eSports Award 2005. Two nation wars starts tomorrow, and those are Sweden vs. Denmark and France vs. Germany.

In Germany Leipzig, Europe's biggest game convention will be held, where events such as the » eSports Award 2005 will take place. You will also be able to spot Blizzard Entertainment there with the latest information about World of WarCraft and much more. But most of all, for us competitive gamers, the offline finals for European Nations Cup in WarCraft 3 will take place. The four finalists have qualified from the group stage (20 teams in total), and those are Sweden Sweden, Denmark Denmark, France France and the fourth and last, Germany Germany.

Sweden and Germany direct qualified after groupstage 2

These four nations will compete in a Double Elimination tournament, where the matches are played with 4x1on1 and 1x2on2 (each best of 3), standard format. Sweden and Germany did both direct qualify for the Grand Final after the second group stage. The other two teams - Denmark and France - had to play in another qualifier in which they managed to win. And so, because of the seeding, Sweden will take on Denmark, and Germany will face France. Neighbour Nation Fight.
