The next genre warping hero will be revealed at BlizzCon 2016

This all but subtle hint by a Blizzard developer pretty much confirms a crazy hero similar to an Abathur , The Lost Vikings, and Cho'Gall will be revealed at BlizzCon.

Last BlizzCon, we saw Lunara, Greymane, and Cho'Gall enter the Nexus.

The BlizzCon before that, we saw Thrall, Jaina, and The Lost Vikings.

This BlizzCon, we will see X, Y, and likely another off-the-wall Z.

Not only do we have the rule of three's at working for us, but this cheeky hint (with a full winky face for added value) by a Blizzard Developer on Reddit pretty much confirms it.

So let the theory crafting being. So far, The Zerg Overmind (pictured right) is a pretty strong contender for possibly game-changing hero. The topic of a hero that replaces your Nexus or otherwise influences the map and isn't an actual "hero unit" has been floating around for a long time now, and The Zerg Overmind fits the bill perfectly.

Born to be wild

However, there is the classic Blizzard IP's that have already been confirmed in past developer interviews as things being worked on and actively considered. There has been a large cult of Rock N Roll racing enthusiast (me being one of them) that grow stronger with each month now that the prophecy (4chan leak) proves it's accuracy. Auriel, Zarya, Chromie, Guldan, AND Medivh were on that last, and so is the "Rock N Roll Racer".

Could this be a hero permanently on mount speed? One that is controlled using WASD steering? Is it possible my dreams will come true? With the D.Va leak recently discovered, it's hard to contain the hype.

Exactly! BlizzCon 2016 is going to be awesome.
