TNC Pro Team: One hit wonders?

After eliminating the front runners to win The International 2016 and achieving a 7-8th place overall finish, TNC Pro Team currently have just one member remaining on the roster.

Presently, Nico ‘Eyyou’ Barcelon is the sole member remaining on the roster despite an exodus of players. Carlo ‘Kuku’ Palad was the first to turn up on the Dota 2 confirmation list. Shortly after, Kuku was joined by his teammates Marc ‘Raven’ Fausto, Jimmy ‘DeMoN’ Ho and Sam ‘Sam H’ Hidalgo.

Although four of the five are now free agents, all four are still able to be re-signed by TNC Pro Team if they choose to do so. The new system empowers players with the ability to acquire the highest value opportunity available to them, but at a considerable risk. There has been no official statement from anyone at TNC Pro Team to illuminate what the teams or the players’ motives are.

TNC Pro Team’s accomplishments at The International were a beacon of hope for the SEA region. It was a pleasure for all to witness the drama that unfolded in Seattle wherein TNC eliminated OG. The Dota2 community became drawn towards the emerging squad as a result. Unfortunately, it appears we may not be extended the continued honor of watching the team grow.

It is entirely possible that all players may return to TNC Pro Team but all signs currently point towards this being fiction. Only time will tell what happens next for all involved.
