Registrations for the Manila Major cosplay competition featuring $10,000 in cash and goods have opened.
Alongside the Dota2 teams is another set of competitors preparing for the Manila Majors, with cosplayers gearing up for the Manila Major's cosplay competition. The contest features the largest prize pool in recent memory, doubling what was offered at the EPICENTER LAN event. Also, prominent Filipino cosplayer, Alodia Gosiengfiao, will be present at the event as a special guest.

The cosplay competition will be taking place during the main event of the Manila Majors from the 7th to 12th of June at the Mall of Asia Arena. Although no official date has been set for the cosplay competition, it is assumed to be on the final or penultimate day as registrations close on the 10th of June.
Cosplay competitions have been gaining popularity among tournament organizers in the recent months and prize pools are starting to be provided for this type of side event. Examples of LAN events organizing cosplay competitions include the EPICENTER, ESL One Manila and the upcoming ESL One Frankfurt.
