With patience and a whole lot of luck, players can select Random and be given Artanis as the match starts, even though he has not be released publicly.

Content creator and caster, Tetcher, did the waiting so we didn't have too. Even though it is just against bots, watching Artanis be played offers a good look at what we can expect from him competitively. For one, Phase Prisms range is something that was hard to really fathom during the ability teaser, but seeing it in action is totally scary.
I'm going on record right now to say that Phrase Prism is like a Stitches Hook on steroids. Artanis already has a lot going for him, but the ability to grab an enemy out of position, immediately placing him self in the ideal spot to punish and body block them is totally insane. I look forward to seeing amazing plays once Artanis gets in the hands of the pros.
Then again, that may have already happened. Mcintyre managed to get two games with Artanis while he was streaming, and posted the highlight videos here and here. He tries out different builds in each game and offers his first impressions of the hero (admittedly, while playing bots.)
