Hearthstone Fight Night returns for two more seasons this Monday

The ESGN Fight Night Hearthstone show returns on streams February 10th with new player and new format. Two Bo5 series will again be played between the Liquid Value and DogeHouse teams over the span of two weeks.

The previous two seasons of Fight Night pitted the two teams of four players each in a standard deck-elimination team format: the pairings were selected randomly and each player brought three decks to the match, swapping it upon losing or keeping it upon winning. Both the player-vs-player and the entire series overall was played in a Bo5 format.

The third and fourth season of the tournament will keep this format for the most part, though a few adjustments have been made:

  • Pairings are done randomly (same as last season)
  • Each player brings three decks of different classes to the match. He must change the deck if he loses and keep it if he wins (same as last season)
  • For the ace match, each team bans a class and then all four members get together as a group to play the match (new rule)
  • In Season 4, teams are obliged to use different classes than those used in Season 3 (new rule)

The war will again be waged between Liquid Value and DogeHouse, each of which has welcomed a new member compared to last two seasons. High-ranked NA and EU player Savjz joins his team-mates from DogeHouse while Liquid Value will use famous Paladin player Koyuki to their line-up.
