Having completed his mandatory military service, the legendary Choi "iloveoov" Yun Sung will return to SK Telecom to retake his position as coach.
Known as one of the best macro Terrans in all of BroodWar and holding multiple titles in the game including one WCG, two OSL and three MSL championships, iloveoov retired as a player in 2008. However, he decided to stay in the competitive scene as was a hired as a Terran-specific coach for the team where he spent four years of his career, Boxer's SK Telecom T1.
Iloveoov acted as coach for three yeras before finally enlisting for his mandatory military service in 2011. After two years in the army, iloveoov was discharged two days ago, on September 17th, and is already looking forward to returning to his old job.
"I have a new way of approaching my work thanks to my time in the military. I feel like I can accomplish anything. I feel especially confident that I can do things like creating various kinds of documents anytime," iloveoov has stated before Fomos.kr. SK Telecom are still to make an official announcement regarding the exact coaching position that iloveoov will be taking.
