Through a streaming marathon Siv HD and friends managed to gather 1.9 million dollars for Save the Children
Inspired by his friend Athene, Siv HD ran a streaming marathon with his friend resulting in the astonishing 1.9 million dollars gathered for charity. The original goal of the marathon was 50 000 $ which was later extended to 100 000 $. However upon seeing the gamers great success, USAID organization promised to match the donations times 9 for a grand total of 1,000,000 dollars. After some more time the total amount of donations reached 1.9 million. The gathered money will go for the Save the Children foundation. The achievement of the streamer was also noted in a Dutch newspaper.
