The issue where a specific key isn't working in-game is usually because of the steam overlay or steam browser. If you open the overlay and close it again it should fix it.
Most of the time it's because you have a steam browser window open and you've clicked on a text/search box, so for some reason that specific key is being is being used by that browser window. In which case, clicking out of the search box should fix the issue.
