WCG closes doors after 14 years

According to CEO Brad Lee, the World Cyber Games will cease operations effective 2014. This announcement comes 14 years after the first event was held in 2000 in Yongin, South Korea.

Dota 2 peaks at 200,000+ concurrent during DreamHack

The numbers from DreamHack are here and Dota 2 leads the concurrent viewers charts, leaving other eSports titles like StarCraft 2, CS:GO and Heroes of Newerth far behind. Put together, the day three English and the Russian stream peaked at 201,267 concurrent viewers.

DreamHack Winter announces groups & casters
