PGL Major Antwerp saw a peak of 2 million viewers with the FaZe vs NAVI final match

This peak is not as high as Stockholm, but it is still in the top two of most viewed games.

The match between FaZe Clan and NAVI yesterday marked the end of PGL Major Antwerp, the first Major for CS:GO in 2022. The match saw the best two teams in the world currently battling each other in their quest for the Major trophy, which eventually was won by FaZe Clan.

The finals of the Major also became the most popular game watched for CS:GO in the past 6 months, according to Esports Charts. The game saw more than 2 million viewers at its peak, as fans all over the world joined in online to watch the match between rivals FaZe and NAVI.



The breakdown of the peak viewers is 1.69 million viewers on Twitch and over 250K concurrent viewers on Youtube. If broken down by language, the top languages are English (1 million viewers), Russian (544K viewers), and Portuguese (288K viewers).

While the numbers of Major Antwerp are impressive, Major Stockholm still reigns supreme. It is helped that Stockholm was the first Major after a drought of two years in the CS:GO tournament circuit – thus the numbers are not surprising.
