Dreamhack Masters is ready to rumble with $250,000 prize pool

16 teams will be competing to see who rules in CS:GO

Dreamhack Masters is here again, and 16 teams are ready to rumble, to see who can reach to the grand finals and grab that sweet 100 points, which will be part of the ranking in the ESL Pro Tour circuit.

The 16 teams are:

The group stage will play between 29 April and 1 May. The mechanic of the group stage will be a double elimination format, with two groups of eight battling each other. The top three of each group will advance to the playoffs, where a second chance system will be available to teams:

  • Group stage winners advance to the Semifinals
  • Group stage runners-up advance to the Quarterfinals as the High Seeds
  • Group stage 3rd place teams advance to the Quarterfinals as the Low Seeds

Tournament info

The playoffs will be starting on 7 May until 9 May, and it is a single-elimination bracket. When teams reach the quarters and semis, the games will be best of three matches, while the grand final will be a best of five affair.

The competition offers a bounty of $250,000 and points for the ESL Pro Tour are as follows:
