Extra Salt have confirmed the signing of the ex-Cloud9 quartet and coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen, as first reported by Rush B Media on Friday. The team remain on the hunt for a fifth player to round out their ranks, and are also considering the expansion to a six-man roster.
The acquisition of the core marks the organisation's first entry into esports, with the brand having only being created recently by former Damage Control founder Daniel van Flymen, who will head up Extra Salt as CEO, and by David Alson, who will be the organisation's COO.
