Following the benching of Lincoln "fnx" Lau, Immortals have opted to trial Vito "kNg" Giuseppe as a fifth.
Immortals recently announced the benching of Lincoln "fnx" Lau in a bid to create a "healthier" environment within the team, leaving a void to fill. Whilst searching for a suitable replacement, the team's Coach, Rafael "zakk" Fernandes was filling the spot, however the organisation expressed that they were looking to find a long-term replacement. After a small period of time, the team has announced that Vito "kNg" Giuseppe will be trialled as fnx's replacement at upcoming tournaments.
For those unaware, kNg hails from a Counter-Strike 1.6 background, known to be a consistent player and particularly proficient with the AWP. In addition to the prior, Giuseppe has a history of playing with current Immortals member, Lucas "steel" Lopes, most noticeably during his time with Lopes on g3x in 2016. Whilst the player has not participated at large international events, kNg has a few small titles under his belt, securing first place at the Legend Series #1, Headshot Cup #1, both during his time on the Brazilian iteration of Red Reserve.
Following the addition of Vito "kNg" Giuseppe, Immortals consists of the following core:
Lucas "Lucas" Teles
Henrique "HEN1" Teles
Ricardo "Boltz" Prass
Lucas "Steel" Lopes
Vito "kNg" Giuseppe (trial)
