Team EnVyUs announce signing of academy team

North American multi-gaming organisation Team EnVyUs announce the signing of an academy CS:GO roster.

Team EnVyUs follow in the footsteps of multiple organisations by signing an academy roster of their own. Talks of a French academy team have been around for a while, with the team initially having set its eyes on France David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljevic and France François "AmaNEk" Delaunay. The two Frenchmen declined, instead opting to join the ranks of North American representatives, Misfits. With two spots to fill, the organisation made the decision of signing France Audric "JaCkz" Jug and France Valentin "VKLL" Bartolomei, formerly of Epsilon Esports, to fill the two remaining vacant spots.

The idea of signing an academy team seems to be a trend amongst top CS:GO organisation with Fnatic, GODSENT, Gambit, North and others sporting one of their own. The thought behind signing such rosters is to nurture up-and-coming talent in the scene, granting exposure and opportunities. Many embrace this trend and enjoy watching academy teams of their favourite organisations participate at events, however there has been suspicion of potential conflicts of interest from sceptics. In light of the aforementioned ESL have taken a stance on academy teams, prohibiting a single organisation from having both their main and academy rosters participate in the same tournament.

France EnVyUs Academy consists of the following five players:

France Julien "PetitSkel" Marcantoni
France Lambert "Lambert" Prigent
France Ali "hAdji" Hain
France Valentin "VKLL" Bartolomei
France Audric "JaCkz" Jug
