Heroic brings in JUGI

Heroic has officially secured the transfer of Jakob "JUGi" Hansen to their roster following his buyout from Tricked.

After nearly two weeks of feuding between the two organizations, Tricked eSports and Heroic.gg have both settled on a buyout fee for Tricked's star AWPer, Jakob "JUGi" Hansen, which allows him to officially join up with Heroic as per his contract. The Dane was the center of the dispute between the two teams, having signed a contract with Heroic while still under his current one with Tricked, and Heroic being unwilling to pay the fee proposed initially by Tricked to have him released.

In a statement on Heroic's website, Hansen had the following to say about his transfer:

It feels great! I’ve had a good time with Tricked, but am looking very much forward to starting up with Heroic, who have the ambitions and also the quality to become a really strong contender internationally.

I know a couple of the guys very well, but of course, I have to get used to their style of play and find my own position, but there is such a great vibe on this team, it will not be a problem. Everybody is hungry and ambitious on the team, and I look forward to playing with them, but also to be a part of the set-up provided by RFRSH. Everything here is top professional, and I can’t wait to get started.

With the addition of JUGi, Heroic's roster currently stands as:

Denmark Jakob "JUGi" Hansen
Denmark Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Denmark Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså
Denmark Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen
Sweden Andreas "MODDII" Fridh
