After a successful first edition of Operation: Kinguin, the organisation announces their second.
December 2015 saw Operation: Kinguin, where four invitees challenged each other for a $2,000 prize pool. The tournament proved to be a success, and the organisation recently announced that they will be running a second version of the event, Operation: Kinguin #2.
The amount of participants at the event has been octupled to a total of 32 and the prize pool was multiplied by 10, aggregating to $20,000. Twenty eight of the thirty two slots are reserved for direct invitees, whilst the other four will be decided through two online qualifiers. There will be a second qualifier for eight of the invited teams, whereby the winners will join the victors from the open qualifier in the main event.
Teams interested in the online qualifiers may sign up for the event until January 14th following this link. Another medium through which you can approach the organisers if you are interested in the main event or the closed qualifier is by emailing them at [email protected].
