Bravado drops Racno, Flarez

The South American CS team Bravado Gaming have changed out two of their core members after disappointing results.

Bravado Gaming member Dimitri "Detrony" Hadjipaschali announced on Facebook today that the team will be undergoing dramatic changes as they will be dropping longtime members Dane "Racno" Friedman and Leon "Flarez" Wong in favor two new faces, Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek and Ashton "Golz" Muller. Hadjipaschali had the following to say about the changes:

After arriving back from ESWC in Canada where we never did near as well as we expected to, I had the opportunity of moving over to NA or Europe (based on some opportunities offered to me) for optionally 6 or 12 months to see if I could make anything happen for myself individually as I still have a crazy passion to play this game at the highest level I possibly can. I believe countries like Brazil and Australia being so isolated away as we are from the major international events and being able to partake or play alongside the teams in NA and Europe found success in some sort of way and put their countries on the map is because they simply accumulated the best possible lineup amongst themselves in order to compete, or even near the best. I believe a fair share of the top individual players in South Africa are scattered around in multiple teams and this has always been the case, and I believe there is a great amount of individual talent, especially up and coming locally.

I am extremely determined to take up this new challenge, but at the same time sad about what I leave behind, the memories made and success achieved with not just teammates, but with my friends, both Dane "racno" Friedman who I have been playing alongside with ever since 2006 and Leon "Flarez" Wong, who have decided to step down understandably to make this happen. I don't think this would have been done, and the roster adjustments that everybody is involved in if every single one of us never believed that there is actually hope for a South African team to attempt an international event, once again. As for myself, I am not perfect and none of us are perfect, and of course we all intend on improving individually and giving it another shot, as correctly as we can. I hope others not involved in this emotional roller coaster can see some sort of understanding through this, and can continue to support Bravado, as I can assure you we will be giving our best.

Their new roster is as follows:
South Africa Dimitri "Detrony" Hadjipaschali
South Africa Thulani "LighteR" Sishi
South Africa Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek
South Africa Richard "deviant" Groves
South Africa Ashton "Golz" Muller
