Fragbite Masters is back with season 3, LAN finals and 49,000 EUR prize pool

Fragbite Masters, one of the biggest online tournaments in the CS:GO community, is back with it's third edition and it expands from online to offline. This season will feature only two games, Counter-Strike:Global Offensive and StarCraft:II Heart of the Swarm, which makes the difference to previous seasons where the three titles were always played.

The prize pool for this season is set to 450,000 SEK which is approximately 49,000 EUR. CS:GO will get a bigger cut, 300,000 SEK (~ 33,000 EUR), while SC2 will have to satisfy with 150,000 SEK (~ 15,000 EUR).

This is the first season of Fragbite Masters which ends with LAN finals in the Fragbite studio in central Stockholm. The teams and players will have all travel and accommodation expenses covered by the tournament organizers.

We have chosen to invest 60 000 SEK into travel support for the teams and players as we want to emphasise the fact that anyone, no matter conditions and sponsorships, have a chance to win our tournament even though the finals aren't online anymore.”
