When Blizzard started talking

Blizzard have, for years and years, been a company that you know you wouldn't get a reply from. You could e-mail them all you wanted, harass the Battle.net forums, join the online support channels or complain in various communities. But they didn't listen. They simply didn't care. Or atleast, so most of us believed. In fact, they were listening all the while - otherwise all these patches wouldn't have been made. Yet recently, something has changed. Somehow, fans all around the world are beginning to experience that their opinions are actually important. This is the story of when Blizzard started talking.

"Yeah, there are two of them right here. Wait, let me introduce you to them",
said David Hiltscher of Turtle Entertainment (ESL) as GosuGamers.net arrived to the Battle.net Season 4 Playoffs in Stockholm. He was talking about the two Blizzard representatives present at the event.

The two men, standing at the center of the internet café (Inferno Online in Stockholm), turned out to be Chris Sigaty, Lead Producer for WarCraft III, and Marc Olbertz, Community Manager for Blizzard's European community team.

As we started talking, I realized that I had many questions. And something was different; we actually got very good replies. We had to make this a formal interview, I thought to myself. No PR-team to cut out 90% of the answers, no time rush, no standard copy/paste replies - this was the real thing. And they happily agreed.

GosuGamers.net exclusively and proudly give you Chris Sigaty and Marc Olbertz of Blizzard Entertainment:
