The Danish trio Rene "Ciara" Krag, Thomas "CupCake" Glinski and Dennis "StrinterN" Christensen have signed with Copenhagen Wolves, a Counter-Strike Source organzation that ventures into StarCraft 2 for the first time.

CupCake, perhaps more known as ThomasG from his WarCraft 3 days, is the new team's most accomplished player on international level. A third place in 2011's Samsung European Championship after defeating NightEnD 2-1 earned him $1,000 USD which places him at the top 200 earning list.

Ciara has had scarce success at an international level, but did manage win the all-Danish SteelSeries StarCraft 2 Masters in late December to cash in €1,345 EUR (10,000 DKK). This after defeating his newfound team mate StrinterN three to nothing. He also managed to reach the regular season of third season's TeamLiquid StarLeague. There he exited early after a tough 0-2 loss to MC.

All three players are members of the Danish national team, and have been nominated as "player of the year" at Danish website SC2Replays.dk.

In video interviews with the players, we find out that the trio still go to the university and play the game part time but that joining the Wolves is a great opportunity for them.

The organzation is, by looking at the team website, sponsored by Danish game-server company DSRack and Danish-based game peripheral company SteelSeries.
