New BWScanner 1.00I*

[s]starcraft[/s]The new BWScanner 1.00 I(c) is out and already creating havoc! Apparently, it lets you upload a list of hackers caught by it. I find it a little hard to believe that there are people that actually try to hack while they have this program on. Most BWScanner users are already hack paranoid. If the list does not turn out to be a bug, then I stand corrected, I have underestimated human stupidity.

On a side note Pro gamers Tour is currently thinking of making BWscanner mandatory. We will see how this news event affects their decision. This effort from PGTour has led them to claim that they have obtained at least a commitment for TravelToAiur, the maker of BWscanner, to make it also available in US East gateway.

I will publish the hack list here if no bug, hoax or foul play is reported. Meanwhile the hack list is posted at Entropyzero.org where hackers are usually accused left and right.

Thanks to anova-glm, Tl.net website forum member, the first victim to complain about his name being on the list. He claims to be innocent.
A thread posted by him at TeamLiquid Broodwar forum was shortly thereafter removed by TL staff, unfortunately with no explanation. We are just reporting the news which is what we do best. I am sure we will be hearing more about it tomorrow.

Other changes in the I version of BWScanner:

• Get hackers list feature: you can now look at the always-updated hackers list just by using the new button. Please note that only an access at a time is allowed for security reasons, but since an access is something like a couple of seconds it shouldn't be a problem for any of you :)
  
• Totally rewritten code, BwScanner should now be a much more light program for your processor;
  
• Server has been rewritten too;
  
• BwScanner network traffic has been reduced by almost 30%;
  
• Fixed the problem that caused 'Error 52' on some machines;
  
• No more xp graphics interface;
  
• No more first time installation message;
  
• Since BwScanner activity is getting bigger and bigger, the BwScanner history field has been removed. Meanwhile, to keep track of what happened while using BwScanner, a log file will be created in the same path of your BwScanner.exe file;
  
• Hackers list: all hacking reports will be logged into your log file and into a new list on BwScanner. You can see it once connected.
  
• New interface and menu commands;
  
• Shorter bot answers to avoid flooding problems;
  
• Better auto-reconnect bot feature (should allow the bot in case of drop to rejoin b.net as soon as possible);
