Change your username

[s]sg.com[/s]A function many of you have requested for a long time, and that has (until now) been handled through the administrational team of the site: Change the username.

Our programmer Mellow just finished the function and it's available at the settings menu, which (while speaking of it), got itself a new expandable menu a few weeks ago.

You are allowed to change your username every third week and all changes will be registered in your profile. If you have any specific reason why you don't want your old username to be shown in the profile, please contact us instead of creating a new account.

Your profile has now been filled with more detailed statistics about the number of posts you have submitted; Comments, Guestbook Posts, Private Messages and Forum Posts.

Also, new security and moderating functions have been added to the forums and comments section of GosuGamers using censoring and user warnings.

A perfect example of how warnings work; » This is what happens. This user recieved a written warning due to violation of the forum & picture rules. He responded with calling one of the administrators a nazi without any particular reason and re-uploaded his picture which we just had removed.

A user will have his IP banned from the site, his account shut down and his name no longer welcome at the site once he gets his third warning. New terms of agreement will soon be published and hopefully accepted by everyone.
