Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to defend their title at Dreamhack Summer by defeating Natus Vincere in the Grand Finals with the score of 2-0. They will earn the first prize of $10,000, while Natus Vincere will have to settle for the $5000 second place reward.

Group stage finished, playoffs bracket released

The second day of Dreamhack Summer is behind us with Group D shaping up as arguably the most interesting one so far, featuring a slew of nail-biting matches. Lemondogs topped it, with Na`Vi placing second. The playoffs have also been drawn, and CS fans will be looking forward Virtus.pro versus Natus Vincere as the highlight of the bracket.

NiP win Group A, Epsilon go to Playoffs

Ninjas in Pyjamas win Group A of the Dreamhack Summer Tournament, taking down Berzerk and Epsilon. The French will be joining them in the playoffs after winning the consolidation match over the Germans.

UPDATE: Publiclir.se to replace ENCE at Dreamhack Summer

After TEAMGLOBAL cancelled their participation yesterday, ENCE has also decided to pull out of DreamHack Summer after one of their players experienced a family tragedy. Publiclir.se is all set to replace the latter in the $30,000 tournament.

Dreamhack announces groups, streams and a full schedule

Dreamhack Summer CS:GO 2014 will take place from June 14th to June 16th. The format of the main event includes group phase and playoffs, where each group consists of four teams. Groups A & B will be played out on Saturday, C & D on Sunday and the playoffs will conclude on Monday. The prize pool is set to $30,000.
