Duncan "Thorin" Shields (born March 5, 1983) is a British esports journalist and freelance studio analyst. Shields is known as "The Esports Historian" for his extensive historical knowledge of the games, teams, and players he covers. He has worked for various event organizers such as ESL, DreamHack, and ELEAGUE; written for Dot Esports; and produces video content on his YouTube channel.
