A total of five names have been finalized for the WarCraft movie, to come in theatres in March 2016. Previously rumored names like Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin are not on the list.
Slashfilm.com report that Ben Foster (X-Men: The Last Stand), Travis Fimmel (Vikings TV Series), Paula Patton (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol), Toby Kebbell (Wrath of the Titans), and Rob Kazinsky (Pacific Rim) have all been signed to play in the WarCraft movie. Legendary Pictures are also in the final stages of signined Dominic Cooper (Captain America).
The announcement mentions nothing of the other names that were rumored few months earlier, namely Colin Farrell (In Bruge, Total Recall), Anton Yelchin (Star Trek: Into Darkness), Paul Dano (Looper) and Ansons Mount (Hell on Wheels).
As we reported in October, the WarCraft motion picture was supposed to come in theatres 18 December 2015 but Blizzard decided to move it further in time as to not coincide with the premiere date of Star Wars: Episode 7. The new date is March 2016 and production will begin this January.
