'It's not just a game, it's my life' said chest-stabbing WoW player

580f475b472730ade0cc2e62726b6514835792348d7765ce99ad0216fd.jpgCanadian newspapers report of a man stabbing a neighbour in the chest after said neighbour went in to the house to investigate an overheard argument about a World of WarCraft argument.

To Ottawa Sun, victim Jordan Osbourne alleges he was stabbed when he told the arguing neighbour that there was "no need for you to be freaking out about World of WarCraft," and that "it's just a game".

The stabber, Justin Williams, replied "It's not just a game, it's my life," and then grabbed Osbourne's throat, punched him in the face and stabbed him in the chest.

Justin Williams was charged with aggravated assualt and assault with a weapon and Jordan Osbourne was hospitalized for the stab would to his sternum.

While finding it fun to see "gaming news" reach the paper, gaming enthusiasts find it typical that Ottawa Sun decided to report on a knife fight and not on the grand final of the StarCraft 2 championship North American StarLeague in Toronto.
