| Hey, I've just been thinking recently that it would be cool if betting on DotA was more like real sports betting. I don't know if it would be too much work for all that but something like a total kills over/under, first blood bet, a time or kill-based spread for winning games with better payout (if there's a heavy favourite), times of games (based on pushing teams and such). There's tons of things that could be looked at, staff would just need to come up with the lines after the program is created so people bet both ways. Like I said, I don't know much about how these things are done, but I do have a lot of fun betting on sports and I think it would be cool for DotA/Dota2 as well. Might even be nice to have a real money option, but maybe the game isn't that stable an esport yet. Anyway, just putting it out there, thanks for reading. |
