StarsWar 6 Killer WC3 Europe-Korea Qualifier


1. Participants
* 8 seeded players by invited + 64 players from who apply by e-mail.

2. Format
1) 1st Qualifier - 8 Groups of Ro8 Tournament, all match is Bo3. Winner of each group will advance to 2nd Qualifier. 4 Groups play per day.
2) 2nd Qualifier - Round 1 is Single Elimination, Seeded player matches with qualified player of 1st Qualifier at Round 1. Double Elimination from Ro8, all match is Bo3. Winner will attend Global Final at China.

3. Schedule
1) 1st Qualifier - April 3rd/10th, 23:00 KST(16:00 CEST)
2) 2nd Qualifier - April 17th to May 7th.(scheduled so far, could be changeable)
April 17th - Ro16 Match 2, 8
April 18th - Ro16 Match 3, 4
April 19th - Ro16 Match 5, 6
April 20th - Ro16 Match 1, 7
April 25th - Round 1 Match 3, 1
April 26th - Round 1 Match 2, Lower Bracket Round 1 Match 1
April 27th - Round 1 Match 4, Lower Bracket Round 1 Match 2
April 29th - Upper Bracket Semi-Final Match 1, 2
May 1st - Lower Bracket Semi-Final Match 1, 2
May 3rd - Upper Bracket Final, Lower Bracket Final
May 14th - Consolation Final
May 14th - Grand Final



4. How to Apply

* European(American) and Korean players can register by E-mail. please send it to fpa13_fsp@hotmail.com until March 30th 23:59 CEST.
* All participant must have no restrictions to travel to China.
* 64 players will be picked from applications.

Rule of StarsWar 6 Killer Europe-Korea Qualifier

1. General:

1.1 This is a Qualifier for StarsWar 6 Warcraft III TFT.
1.2 Every participant must own a legal copy of the game, patched to the newest version.
1.3 Each Player is obliged to be in the Garena channel GIGABYTE StarsWar6 Qualifier Room.

2. Tournament:

2.1 StarWar 6 Killer Europe-Korea Qualifier is divided into 2 stages.
2.1.1 1st Qualifier is Round of 64, consisted of 8 Tournament grids. Each winner of grid advance to 2nd Qualifier.
2.1.1.1 1st Qualifier is played in 8 Single Elimination grids in best of three(Bo3).
2.1.1.2 1st Qualifier is played in 2 days. First 4 grids is played at April 3rd 16:00 CEST, Remaining 4 grids is played at April 10th 16:00 CEST.
2.1.2 2nd Qualifier is Round of 16.
2.1.2.1 2nd Qualifier is played in a Single Elimination grid in best of three(Bo3) at Round 1.
2.1.2.2 2nd Qualifier is played in a Double Elimination grid in best of three(Bo3) from Round 2.

2.2 veto rules
2.2.1 In 1st Qualifier, First game was preset by admin, and loser select from map pool.
2.2.2 In 2nd Qualifier, Map selection proceed as following steps.
2.2.2.1 Each player has right to remove 2 maps from map pool. Then the referee will announce the other three will be match maps.
2.2.2.2 If players choose the same map to remove, they need to remove 1 map by themselves, then the referee will announce the other three will be match maps.
2.2.2.3 Each player has right to pick up 1 map from match maps. If they choose the same map, then first match map ready go, if they pick up different maps, the other one will be the first map.
2.2.2.4 First round loser has right to pick up the second round map.
2.3 If a player wants to play offrace, he/she has to announce it before starting game.
2.4 After the match, winner has responsibility sending the replay.


3. Hosts:

3.1 Both players have to make an agreement about a host.
3.2 If there is no way to come to an agreement, a admin needs to get involved.
3.3 If the host picks the wrong map and the players discover the mistake not until the game has started, the match will be repeated with the regular map except if both players accept the wrong map. In this case a protest after the game is excluded.


4. Coverage:

4.1 In general, observers are permitted unless one player forbids it at 1st Qualifier.
4.2 In general, observers are forbidden at 2nd Qualifier.
4.3 Event Admins, Waaagh TV-streamers, coverage partners are always allowed to observe any match.


5. Maps:

5.1 Map Pool

Twisted Meadows
Turtle Rock
Echo Isles
Sercret Valley
Terenas Stand

5.2 In 1st Qualifier, map of game 1 have to be played at following maps.
Round 1 - Echo Isles
Round 2 - Ancient Isles
Round 3 - Turtle Rock


6. Replays:

6.1 The replays of each game have to be saved and sent to event admin(MSN/E-mail:fpa13_fsp@hotmail.com). If a player is not able to upload/send the requested replay, he might be disqualified.


7. Disconnects:
7.1 In case of a disconnect in the first 5 minutes of the game, it will be restarted. Both player have to play as same race as they played in disconnected game.
7.2 If a player was disconnected after 5 minutes of the game, opponent can select regame or not.
7.3 In case of disconnected player have clearly ahead of the game, he can request to event admin to decide.


8. Rule:

8.1 Players have to obey the instructions of the admins.
8.2 Any breach of the rules might be punished with a default loss or even with a disqualification.
8.3 Event admin's decision should be respected, it can overule by case.
8.4 Map hack, Disconnection hack, Smurf ID, unmannered action, and other cheating actions are strictly prohibited, and causing disqualify.
