Personally, I think SoKoL's strategy of bm, only 2 grunts and relatively fast tech after 1st grunt (not sure about this though) and then SH with t2 towerrush seems very good, personally I lose a lot against this. Ofc you will not win everybody with this, e.g. moon owned the hell out of SoKoL with talons, but it is really nice on the normal level.

My personal favourite is Grubby of course, more specifically one strategy that he did against remind in zotac and won HARD. BM harass, one grunt then tech, second grunt and in t2 SH, hardcore harass till he dies or hurt his t2 buildings, tech pattern and break his creeping. In t2, elf has DH and BeM and maybe few archers which die quickly. You have BM + SH with 2 grunts, that can easily kill all the archers and the rest is herofocus. Works especially on AI, SV.

All in all - harass with SH > TC creeping imo

#41 I don't think this can be so good. If the Night Elf camps at his base and just wait his techs finish you will just die the minute after. I'm talking about the BM/SH non-stop-harass.
SoKoL's strat is a little weak if the night elf realise the orc is getting a warmill the elf should make KOTG, then with a shop the elf will pwn this fast t2 tower rush

well, the non-stop harass does not end that easily, as orc has teched quite early so elf does has not even started teching to t3 when he gets attacked. And I dont think elf can camp, without tier3 his units are extremely weak and raiders tear down buildings quite hard...I dont say it is a perfect strategy with no weak points, but I have seen it work and if pulled off well on a small map, it is quite deadly.

and the towerrush, I have seen quite some games where sokol did this against very good players (e.g. ThomasG) and yes, elf made a KOTG and still the game lasted for 50 minutes, so I would not say it is that easy to counter. also we have to realise that KOTG's hp at level 1 is ridiculous.

Eli_King you have weird and useless tactics. I agree with you mansnicks. Against skilled elf you can only pray to Lord that he makes some great mistake or you are toasted. Usually that how I loose against Orc. Talons are imba. Cheap and fast to make and with 50 food you can beat pretty much everything. Good elf always attacks on your just putted to build 3rd burrow and he attacks on just gotten t2 and putted buildings with DH/BM/QB and few archers... It's hard to counter.. Best way is to play UD and go Gargs xD That works xD
