Which race is stronger?elf or orc? (10487 reads, 40 replies, 2 years ago)
I have heard from many people that Night elves got a bit advantage on orc ,more then orc has an advantage on elf,is that right? or Orcs are too imba and even Orc>Night elf? Want to hear your opinion. :)

Face it once and for all - the orcs are imba only versus undead, the rest is because you lack skills to beat them. Talons are extremely strong versus orc, so strong that they force the orc players to avoid direct battles and try to win by ruining the elven economy instead. However, the next most common tactic is the bears one, which isn't that powerful but is more useful than dotts on certain maps. Still, the orcs can compensate for the "overpowered" talons in various ways, so I would say that bearing in mind all the advantages and disadvantages in this match up from each race's point of view, I would say that non of them is stronger than the other.

It changes from player to player. IMO Elf versus Orc matchup is fairly balanced. If you play aggresively while playing Orc, you will probably put the pressure on the Elf and this is the most important thing in this match up for Orcs. Always try to remember that. If you allow the elf to roam, creep freely; you will definetely face some elderly looking little boys lined up to own you.

Oh so The Elf vs Orc Is Balanced at all? Maybe I'll see more opinions of you.

#4 #5 i dont play orc solo, and i have witnessed hundreds of games where this happens. And most orc players know that when playing vs talons that you almost never win in 50-50 fights. So please, try not to act 'cool' like you know everything when you obviously dont. I wouldnt wanna take the path where we start discussing who>who.

#10 so on what basis do you assume you are the only one who watched a lot of matches? how many championships did orc snatch away from NE's now? Do you know Why was talons used in the first place Orcs were weak against magic and bad at dispelling, however blizzard patches already fixed that, spirit walkers wrect talons and the only unit in the orc army whos weak towards magic are the 2-3 grunts. ORC has a 55% change of victory against night elves, wrap your mind around that.

If you do that, you will be lacking "Ensnare" which is a key fact in the DotT combat. Ensnare makes killing DotTs much more easier because Ensnare prevents DotTs from being aggresive all the time. Lacking "Ensnare" means you are enabling them to be mobile and aggresive constantly. No matter how hard you dispel with your two raxes of Spirit Walkers, their mana eventually will come to an end which means you lost the game(elf can bring wisps to combat, DH's mana burn etc.). Also "Ensnare" is very useful against DH, who can be very devastating when he is allowed to roam freely in the battlefield. If you watch the gosu's games, you will probably see the Orc player trying to immobilize the Elf's Demon Hunter as fast as he can.

Hmm man I Have to admit,When I Play vs talons I Make BM+SH and then I hero focus,Until now - no elf has won me when I have focussed down his hero while he throws his talon wrath on me xD.Is it Imba too? Or It's just such a nooby tactic? I Can't tell nothing-Because I'm allways wining with it,and too I saw Lyn plays Hero Focus often...But many players think that It's nooby....Maybe It's a way that Orc>ne? : ) btw bear dryad sucks ,they aren't really an imbalance problem,this tactic is fragile to kodo , siege and dispell.Only Talons are our case to victory as NE vs an Orc.
