The Music was without any doubt really nice, sice i've been listening to uk hardcore&Freeform for many years :)

Feedback: (Before reading, ALWAYS remember a dj get his own style of mixning. And this is just my pov what could be better ;)

Devastated Motivated > I Have To Dream

When you start to mix in "I have to dream"(01:31) try to lower mid&high eq alot more before. The Low could be really anything, since I have to dream just build it up nicely by itself :).
Then just raise it slowly until Deva/mot's Kick starts again. WHEN 2nd track(Got tired of telling the full titles ;p) starts fully(03:02).
Try to quickly lower the mid-high (and always go 0-10%-low of the track you're mixing out) of the 1st track. Since the mid-high bit 'stings' and sounds way to much. Otherwise I liked it, def. no problem beatmatching etc.

I Have To Dream > Pilgrim

05:05 - When pilgrim starts to kick in, same here. Alot more work from the mid-high. Try to have mid-high around 25-30% when you start the track. And slowly raising it till 45-50%. Until the kick from Pilgrim starts(05:16). You did think correctly, soundin like you were simply lowering the fader for I Have to dream. Same here try to use mid-high alot more.

Listening to the rest of the mini-set. And its the same here, the main-thinking and timing is really really good. But alot more work from mid-high. Then it will be just flawless ;)

dab mean EQ usage right :) i usually cut all but mid out of the track im bringin in, and when the bass is about to kick in and snares come in play (in new track) i usually start rising it's high and takin bit out of the old track. usually there is that last 4 beats are not bass notes nor kicks so there is plenty of time to change low's so u can bring in the new track blasting but same time smoothly

Yeah that was quite almost what I was trying to do, it's just a bit hard since I'm only using my mouse to do the mixing :D (and some hotkeys)
Hopefully I'll get that mixing table soon to start really paying attention to all those volume levels. ATM, it's almost like On/Off style >D

The only song change which got really screwed IMO was the last one, Dubzone -> Bring you down... I got tired and just did the easy way, and you can definitely hear it.
The best change is perhaps from Pilgrim -> Dubzone in my ears.

And yo thx for the feedback dab, really ^^

What programs did you use to make the mix?

I'm thinking of doing a psychadelic trance mix

Yeah exactly :) But since he had no real problem with cutting in/out with the low. He just have to work alot more with the mid-high.

But also again mushi, always remember to build up your own mixing-style ;)

Traktor PRO and Serato ITCH are the best mixing softwares for mobile dj's, tho u can get serato only when u buy Serato Scratch, means u're about to go on timecoded vinyls. So if u're using midi controller/mixer and thinkin of good program to spin and control mp3's, go with Traktor.

By the way, there's another mix, Mushi talked me into this so this time by it's by me. It's done with some random pick ups on the flow and transitions are not familiar to me in this mix cuz I have to spin the next track alrdy after breakdown. Anyway, hope u like atleast some of the most fresh Upfront UK Hardcore, there's some good tunes in there.
