what is buff placer??? (420 reads, 6 replies)
in dota v 6.54b there is an additional information in skadi and desolator " a buff placer"
what does exactly it mean if i can know?
can somebody help me to explain it??

its a wrong forum, anyways a buff placer is a orb effect that can be used with another orb, for explame u can have satanic for lifesteal and eye for slow, and u get both, but u can have 2 orb placers, u cant use nortrom with his glaive attack or whatever its called and eye of skadi cause theyre both orb placers... well something like that i dont know if im right but thats what i could see in the game. wish i helped u

basically you could use another orb effect that doesnt give a buff(in this case mostly negative buff) to the enemy. example skadi which gives slow and madness. skadi gives a slow effect/buff while madness doesnt. but desolator(-armor) and skadi(slow) wont work.
