thanks for clearing it up tho lol, like i said, i'm no diving enthusiast...

i'm still interested tho, because home turf does affect scoring, i just wanted to see if there was any relation to the medals they won to judged events. i'm not trying to china bash here so chill k?

I'm not trying to be a shit disturber or anything, but could anyone tell us how many of those gold medals were based on judged events and how many were based on their finishes like best time/distance/ or w/e...

i remember seeing the diving events, and i'm no diving enthusiast...but some of those scores were like...wtf...

persson beat primorac. :( that's too bad, zoran choked in some crucial parts of the match and didn't play as he should have. best of luck to persson though, he's gonna need it.

two europeans in the final 8, one 39 the other 42.. speaks volumes about the younger generation of european players. -.-

After promising start we have "only" 3-3-0, but Spotakova in yesterday's javelin was just amazing.

And yeah, as someone mentioned, manipulating of some judging games in favor of China is kind of sad. Right now comes to my mind Judo women finals (don't remember the cathegory), Chinese versus Cuba.

Yeah indeed... impressive by Persson thou, reaching top4 in his 6:th (!) Olympic tournament. I'll be very impressed if he manages to beat just one of those three chinesse players...

Oh well, yet some more bad luck for Sweden still not managing to reach that damned gold. :P
"Stolpe ut" summarize Swedens effort in the Olympics so far. :P
We got another silver and a bronze yesterday thou, so now we have 4 silvers and 1 bronze at least. :)

What is counted to be first goldmedals or total number of medals?
I think gold medal is more fair , then china would be far ahead.
