Does anybody creep with Blizzard? (470 reads, 10 replies)
I tried using blizzard in almost every game just to get better at it and had some success with creeping.

If you can get the blizzard to hit all the creeps uninterrupted they die really fast. Your footies get beat up a bit more compared to creeping with a water elemental, but you kill the creeps a lot faster.

It seemed like I could do 2 green creeps with blizzard in the time it would take me to do 1 green creep with water elementals. The water ele is also slow and sometimes you have to wait for it thus slowing your creeping, creeping with blizzard seems faster.

Anyone try this?

Water elemental is more versatile, as you can use it for other things after you creep. blizzard only hits once, and it's gone.

Creeping with blizzard isnt best idea, when enemy comes to harras you or attack your base blizzard is useless :P

Well there is a funstrat where hum can creep the red non-spawn camp on TR with only a lvl 1 AM with blizzard, which gives lvl 3. But it's very unsafe and not the best way to get lvl 3, and blizzard is quite useless in battles, so u have to spend 300 gold at a retraining book.

in ffa people often creep with blizzard. it IS really effective

Blizzard is useless...if Ur foe sees u've got blizz instead of WE...he'll got Ranger . He'll wait for U to launch blizzard over his army and after that use Silence...u'll consume the mana and get 0 advantage of it. I think WE plus Brilliance aura is the option. And a lvl 3 WE attack hits really bad..and u can use it as tank and fire air and ground.

I would VERY rarely chose a hero for the sole purpose of silencing blizzard when you can just move out of the way or net with raiders etc. Seems like an awful lot of waste of gold and hero slots.

On topic yeah WE is way better for creeping imo. if I for fun would like to have blizz one game i eco harass with blizzard while creeping with militia/footies.

im not saying blizz is better. im saying it doesnt suck. later in games BLIZZARD IS ALOT BETTER than WE when the army sizes are big
