My band have just released a new demo.
It would be great if you could listen and tell me what you think even tough all of you cant understand the lyrics.

Haha :P Well, the genres are not the same at all. I think metal is more about the music and punk is more about the lyrics, and the message in the music.

Basically you're right but then again very often the message is pretty much bullshit, singing about how hard it is to live in sweden or whatever other insert rich western nation is about as intelligent as 50 Cent singing about the ghetto while he lives in his 10000 square feet manor.

Of course, that depends on what you are comparing to. if you compares sweden agains some poor country in africa or if you compare between the "socialclasses" in sweden. And most of the punkbands never does it 50-cent-stylish like "Yeah, im from da ghetto i had a hard childhood" the message is more about "everybody should have the same" and dont brag about how hard his/her life is.
