Good job #14. For the future, encasing text in
and
tags will work.

Here's my next riddle:

You die and the devil says he'll let you go to heaven if you beat him in a game. the devil sits you down at a round table. He gives himself and you a huge pile of quarters. he says "Ok, we'll take turns putting quarters down, no overlapping allowed, and the quarters must rest on the table surface. The first guy who can't put a quarter down loses." You guys are about to start playing, and the devil says that he'll go first. However, at this point you immediately interject, and ask if you can go first instead. You make this interjection because you are very smart, and you know that if you go first, you can guarantee victory. Explain how you can guarantee victory.

#17 This is Albert Einstein's test, isn't it? I managed to solve it once. As far as I know only 2% of society can handle with it, because this test is very special...

Edit: You wrote that this is Einstein's riddle. I didn't saw it, just clues:P. Sorry.

Thats exactly what #17 said. I dont belive that only 2% can solve this tho, its not really that advanced. Just find the first few indisputable clues and build upon that. If we are all ready three who has solved it, it kind of proves my point :)

I still cant get my head around #3s riddle. As someone said you have to make a stack of 20 coins and then flip them, but what does this change? You might end picking one or more of the 20 all ready turned, and then you would be in trouble, no? Please explain why you would necessarily end up with two stacks of even flipped ones... Is the stack of 20 tailes all ready separate?

I'll post this one separetly as it's quite long.

Now for Einstein's riddle. Einstein said that 98% of the world's population would not be able to solve it. I want to see how FAST everyone can solve this as it is pretty taxing! Please don't just look the answer up on the web and say "I did it in 10 mins" etc... Be honest and say what time you did it in (if you were able to solve it that is!) For those who already know the answer, please don't spoil :P. I did this in around 30 minutes but I did get VERY LUCKY. Good luck!

• There are 5 houses that are each a different colour.
• There is a person of a different nationality in each house.
• The 5 owners drink a certain drink. They each smoke a certain brand of cigarettes and also have a certain pet. No owner has the same pet, smokes the same brand of cigarettes nor drinks the same drink.
• The question is. “Who has the fish?”

TIP: Writing stuff down is highly recommended!

CLUES

1. The British man lives in the red house.
2. The Swedish man has a dog for a pet.
3. The Danish man drinks tea.
4. The green house is to the left of the white house.
5. The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
6. The person that smokes Pall Mall has a bird.
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The person that lives in the middle house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The person that smokes Blend, lives next to the one that has a cat.
11. The person that has a horse lives next to the one that smokes Dunhill.
12. The one that smokes Bluemaster drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to a blue house.
15. The person that smokes Blend, has a neighbour that drinks water.

I guessed the correct answer the second I finnished reading... then I confirmed it in about 20-30 min. :P

Well, if you turn one of the tails ones there will be less of those in the big stack. Say you manage to pick one that is tails up. That means your stack of 20 will have 19 with tails up and one with heads (which was tails previously). You flipped one of the original 20 tails so it's only 19 with tails up in the original pile. Thus, 19 of tails in both piles. :)

I see. It was I who didnt read the question thorougly enough. I thought he meant one had to split the entire coin mass in two (seemed kinda stupid cuz it was infinite) and then start flipping coins. Under those conditions i could not come up with anything but mere chance:)

You stand in front of two gates, one leads to the exit, other to the abbys. Two security men stands before gates - one always lies, but other says always truth (you don't know who is who). How would you formulate one question only asking only one security man to get an ansewr which gate leads to the exit?

Good job Rey! That's the solution I had in mind as well.

Here's my next riddle:

An Arab sheikh is old and must will his fortune to one of his two sons. He makes a proposition. His two sons will ride their camels in a race, and whichever camel crosses the finish line last will win the fortune for its owner. During the race, the two brothers wander aimlessly for days, neither willing to cross the finish line. In desperation, they ask a wise man for advice. He tells them something; then the brothers leap onto the camels and charge toward the finish line. What did the wise man say?

#20 Well done :D. That's the correct answer.

Sorry for any confusion. It's not really a riddle but more of a mathmatical puzzle in some ways.

Well done guys and thanks for telling me your times. I've always said that Starcraft gamers gamers are pretty intelligent due to the complexity of the game :). Helps with riddles and puzzles like these.

You've all done really well becasue I got given this puzzle in my Physics class a few years back and non of my friends could solve it within the hour! I did A-Level Physics at school (in England students can opt to stay on for 2 years after high school to study Advanced Level subjects, which are recommended if you want to go to university) so I was pretty surprised that no-one could solve it within my class, considering Physics is regarded at the hardest A-level subject >.<.

Well, I guess many can solve the freakkin Einstien riddle, me, I'm to lazy, but solved a few similars back in school days.

Anyway, my guess is that only 2% can solve it without writing stuff down.
