This is a very very stupid riddle of one of my friends, but hey, worth a shot in here...^^
There is a man driving, but all of a sudden he realizes he is being chased by someone malicious. He made a sharp turn in the woods, and managed to lose the maniac. He ran out of gas, but luckily, there was a shack nearby. He went in, but no one was home. His adrenaline and fear was still running high by the chase, so he decided to find a phone to call for help. There was none. He went into a strange room in the shack...and there was nothing there but one closet. He opened it, and was frightened. What did he see???
A cell phone...with NO SERVICE! haha, I know, it's stupid...^^
Second one is kind of psychotic...kinda spooked us all out when we heard it..
A man lives on an island, with his wife, and his company employees. The island is infamous, because every month, one employee disappeared. But the man still decides to live there, because his wife wants to live there, and she makes him seagull steak, which he highly enjoys. But one day, he decides to go out with his employees to a restaraunt, also famous for their seagull steak. He tasted it, and noticed it tasted entirely different from his wife's cooking...he went out and shot himself. Why?
The seagull meat in the restaraunt tasted different because it was the REAL seagull meat...his wife has been killing employees and feeding her husband human meat. The man, realizing he's commited cannibalism, couldn't live with himself.
These riddles are ridiculously stupid. I'll give you a real one. The answer is rather simple actually, but it seems impossible until you find it. Here is the riddle:
You are wearing a blindfold and thick gloves. An infinite number of quarters are laid out before you on a table of infinite area. Someone tells you that 20 of these quarters are tails and the rest are heads. He says that if you can split the quarters into 2 piles where the number of tails quarters is the same in both piles, then you win all of the quarters. You are allowed to move the quarters and to flip them over, but you can never tell what state a quarter is currently in (the blindfold prevents you from seeing, and the gloves prevent you from feeling which side is heads or tails). How do you partition the quarters so that you can win them all?
I'm not going to give you the solution because I want to make you think.

You have two ropes.
Goal is it to burn down both ropes in exaxt 45 minutes.
Not less not more.
If you set a rope on fire from one side, it needs one hour to burn down.
You cant cut the ropes.

Not sure if this is correct maybe it is but I maybe used the wrong words
You stack the ropes? like 1 rope is 1/4 of way on other rope and burn it from there then you just cut down the time by 15 minutes^^
I turn polar bears white
and I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
and girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you squeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?
No, you cannot solve the riddle, and that is your answer, \"No\".
* What will kill you if you eat it?
* The poor might have it
* The rich certainly don't
* Greater than deities
* More foul than the devil

You cant cut the ropes.
Burn one rope from both ends, one rope from only one end. The first rope will take exactly 30 minutes to burn, and the second rope will have exactly 30 minutes remaining. Light the other end of the second rope as well at this point, and the remaining half rope will burn in 15 minutes.
How many places are there on the earth that one could walk one mile south, then one mile west, then one mile north and end up in the same spot? to be precise, let's assume the earth is a solid smooth sphere, so oceans and mountains and other such things do not exist. you can start at any point on the sphere. also, the rotation of the earth has nothing to do with the solution; you can assume you're walking on a static sphere if that makes the problem less complicated to you.
I'll give a hint:
You found the one obvious one? Well, there are more than two answers. In fact, there are an INFINITE number of answers! But can you find the general solution?
the north pole is one, then there are multiple sets near the south pole. there are places where the earth's circumference is 1/x miles where x is a whole number. any point 1 mile north of any of these rings will also work as you will walk a mile south, then make x rotations around the earth back to the same spot, and then walk a mile north back to your original spot

You make spoiler tags [spoiler.][/spoiler.] without the dots.
Good job #14. For the future, encasing text in
and
tags will work.
Here's my next riddle:
You die and the devil says he'll let you go to heaven if you beat him in a game. the devil sits you down at a round table. He gives himself and you a huge pile of quarters. he says "Ok, we'll take turns putting quarters down, no overlapping allowed, and the quarters must rest on the table surface. The first guy who can't put a quarter down loses." You guys are about to start playing, and the devil says that he'll go first. However, at this point you immediately interject, and ask if you can go first instead. You make this interjection because you are very smart, and you know that if you go first, you can guarantee victory. Explain how you can guarantee victory.
Now for Einstein's riddle. Einstein said that 98% of the world's population would not be able to solve it. I want to see how FAST everyone can solve this as it is pretty taxing! Please don't just look the answer up on the web and say "I did it in 10 mins" etc... Be honest and say what time you did it in (if you were able to solve it that is!) For those who already know the answer, please don't spoil :P. I did this in around 30 minutes but I did get VERY LUCKY. Good luck!

Assuming "living next to" could go in both directions, this is my answer:
The German has the fish
Didnt use your spoiler. Hints or solution?
Im at work so i have used about 50 mins, which means about 25-35 minutes of concentration.
Edit:
This riddle was very sudoku-like. Once youve jotted down the first secure positions it gets a lot easier. There is no way i could organize all this in my head, especially with 4hs sleep :)
