UD: Aboms, Destros? (709 reads, 15 replies)
Hey guys im relatively new to undead and learning quite a few strats and i was just wondering for the Aboms and the Destro strategy do i need to 2 slaughterhouse or 1 for the fast pump? Sorry i know its a pretty stupid question..

if your focusing on aboms or destroyers then do 2, but if u do vs orc cookie (fiend dest) do 1.

generally you can not really do this strat without an exe, and only in late game. there are better combinations of units

for Fast tier3 destropush you need 2 :S there's not much sense in going for 1 slaughter destros

Man, sorry to say this, but on a long game, let's say against an Human... ABOS and destros are your best chance, dont say what you dont know, for the guy who started the topic, ye, do 2 houses, better way tpo go, but agaimnst orc, even if ou're not goin fiends dont make 2, cuze you wont have much success with abos destros, make really mass ghouls and then push destros, and some fineds for maybe some wyvs... but that's another story

lol when i was playing UD be4 i started playing orc, i played a 1v1 w/ a NE, the NE went mass dryads vs. my aboms. hilarious.
if youre going to do abom/destro push then yes u need 2 houses & vs. ORC do 1 house.

#8, i didnt need to. the elf's main gold mine died, and i kept destroying his expos, while i expo'd on the corner island mines on TM, about 8 aboms vs. his 15-20 dryads. plus he went DH..no 2nd hero. my disease cloud owned him so hard, along with my lv3 defense upgrade :D

edit: just remembered, he didn't go DH..he went warden first... he kept tryin to focus my lich down, but i had lv5 DK and he cudnt kill lich+dk had invul pot :D

Mass Dryads >>>> aboms with any kind of decent micro

lol yes but the guy was noob, just focus fired my lich (which i could easily heal with lv3 coil + the armor boost from frost armor) which allowed my aboms to just rip the dryads apart. the NE had no micro at all :s

Since patch 1.22, many NE's started learning to micro a little so I'd say Destroyers/Abominations no longer work that well.
