2 Orbs on 1 hero (906 reads, 17 replies)
I play mostly 2v2 with my HU ally. We just started experimenting with getting his orb from his shop and then getting mine from my shop to stack my BM a bit. I'm wondering if its worth it to do this early tier 3? I'm assuming the BM would be the best hero to put these on as well.

Late game I like to have Boots, 2 orbs ( orc, hu ), 3 circlets on my BM and then have healing scrolls, healing salves, speed scroll and tele scroll on my FS or TC.

Anyways would that be the best late game item combo's to have on my BM? Thx.

well, not really. the two orbeffects do not stack. Ofcourse you could allways but just for the damage....

I thought they did stack? You can tell by looking at BM's sword that he has both orbs spinning around it. I know for sure the damage stacks... but yeah I thought for sure the orbs stacked =/ Are you sure?

The orb effects don't stack. You can't have purge AND splash damage.

Damnit. Okay then what Orb should I put on my BM? Purge or Splash? Of course it would entirely depend on what my enemy was doing but overall what are considered the best orbs in game?

The splash effect is very small, and quite useless... Actually i would tell u to stay in T2, and not get any orbs... But if u want to go T3, u must take the purge orb for sure

purge for sure, splash orb does a fixed damage of 5, if i remember correctly, and the splash radius isnt too big. purge is insanely useful for chasing things down too.

Yeah, purge ez. It's tailored for the BM :) Works perfect in combination with fast movement speed (to chase down units) and high attack speed (more hits equals more purge)

Thanks for the responses guys. I've only been playing for a little over a month now and im lvl 27, I feel I havnt been improving 2 much in the last week or so... Just trying to figure out the smaller details of the game to improve more.

UD-orb on any agi-melle hero is pure ownage, lets put all orbs in a separate shop so everyone is able to buy witch orb they want :) And yes statik orb is good but not if you are aiming on hero focus with hex ^^

orbs dont stack except dmg...and niether i believe should be bought...im sure u could find a better use for 300g.........................expansion perhaps...maybe another raider and ALMOST a walker?!

I would just get purge orb and boots with some claws and gloves
buying a pendant for HP is good too

you get claws and gloves from creeps btw
