Haha i think its awesome how your using this to make friends, after all its a community its how you get involved. I really dislike america not making us learn other langauges in school, so very cool you guys are learning english at a younger age, ty for choosing my native tongue!
Thats pretty cool lol, i noticed alot of other countries in europe are smeaking more then just 1 thing, w/e they are. America seems rlly stubborn in just speaking english, even with influx of spanish speakers, illegal or not. Hopefully we will learn from this mistake.
90% of swedish people are NOT fluent in english, maybe 10% is. However most people understands it quite well and can keep a conversation going without stuttering and whatnot too much.
Ye, I'd say izm.aydy is exaggerating quite a bit. In my class there were I think 6 people out of 30 speaking fluently, me being one of them, I'd think the younger generations speak better then the older ones (Older ones meaning 40 yrs + or sth along those lines). so what SoI said seems not completely pulled out of some1s behind.
