I watched one of the replays and I can indeed see you're a Starcraft player. First of all, why are you playing RoC and not TFT? That's like playing starcraft without bw oO

So hmm. What you can do is to keep watching replays. Look at the BO, look at what units are good versus others. Not sure if you use it in BW, but in Warcraft there are a few different armor classes and attack types, that does different amount of damage against each other. Study them - if you know every units attack and armor class, you know what's good against what (pretty much).

Also, not sure if it's different in RoC, but your buildorder was wrong. It's Altar-Barrack-farm-gold-farm.

Moreover, you did the right thing to fast expo on Lost temple, it's a map with easy fast expansions for Human. But remember this: it's not all about getting a 100/100 food. I guess you know about the food limits that when you pass them, every gold mine gives you less gold. While having a 100/100 army you 2 expos are worse than one with a 50/100 food.

But yes, you should of course use your money. Use some money on getting the right items for your heroes. Either buy in your own shop or a neutral shop. If you don't want your heroes to die, you can always buy potion of invulnerability. Always have a TP, if you get creepjacked or something you could lose your whole army cause you had no TP. Get scroll of healing, it's a fair trade for the money when you have an army big enough.

Not sure what else to tell you, watch replays, play TFT, practise - you'll figure it out :O

Yes, genia told pretty much everything.

I still suggest you to play chaos campaing and after it frozen throne since the strory is wonderful!! Campaing also helps you to clear some things in your head if you play wow example.

IMO chaos campaing is better than frozen throne.

I, too, find the story pretty cool but I just hate some of these maps to play, take a lot of time and sometimes it's getting boring ~~ Just my opinion though

i'm still noob, but what i experinced as a big change rom starcraft is, that you're click and decision speed is far more important for the choice of strategy .
E.g. if you have an archmage and use water elementals you have to get nearly full use of your hero skill select you're archmage every 20 seconds and add the water elemental to some group, thats nearly all work necessary to use water elementals to full effect.

But if you use blizzard you not only have to select the archmage all 8 seconds, you also have to quickly aim the blizzard so, that many enemy units and few of you're units are hit. 2 seconds later or so - when the enemy player starts moving his units out of blizzard - you have to ready to either stop the blizzard or select some of you#re units to keep them from moving into blizzard, but this should not keep you from using you're other heroes and units.

So depending on how fast you are and what other things you need to take care of(e.g. throw stormbolt every 8 seconds, holy light every 5 seconds, use invisibilty to keep units from dying, produce new units,...) the usefullness of blizzard varies strongly.

The most i laugh when watching replays and 30 seconds into the battle the second enemy hero dies with full mana and a healing potion - in such a case the second hero and his potion are a pure waste of money, because for the same money you simpe could buy some fighting units, which are more powerful than an unused hero.
