A drummer without a band?! Is that even possible? Man, at least over here it's bloody impossible to find drummers. Guitarist, basists and even good vocalists are easy to get together... but a drummer? Nope. You'll most likely have to share him with at least two other bands!
So if you really want to be in a band, just start searching for people - you allready have the hard to find piece!

Well sheep, I would say while Metal may not be that popular, it's not all bad. After all, you do have John Darnielle, aka the guy behind the mountain goats and his great blog in which he assesses his love of metal from an indie rock geek's perspective. Which is www.lastplanetojakarta.com

Perhaps there isn't a huge scene, but if anything I've noticed because of the big underground scene for independent music in Canada, the bands that do rise to the top (exception, cryptopsy ;_;) are pretty awesome. Ie, Augury, Quo Vadis, etc.

Kataklysm is great IMO. I love those guys. Serenity in Fire is one of my favorite albums ever. They aren't as br00tal as other bands, but they are heavy on the groove and the solos are pretty great too. I've got a ratty SIF shirt I still wear, haha

I like Kataklysm. They're cool. Also pretty good live, they were supporting Behemoth here last autumn and they played inbetween Aborted and Behemoth. Nice break for the neck I tell you. ^^,

This is something epic for me. I`m listening to Hypocrisy since I starded listening to death and black metal (about 4th class at primary school) and I`m gonna listen to them till the end of my life.

Man you don't know what you're saying.. Kataklysm is one of greatest Death Metal bands :) I love them <3

Finally, I would like to find a band here(I'm vocalist doing it over 1year, but still working on my screams tho')but metal is veeeery veeeery underground here T_T(especially harder genres which I'm listening to)
P.S:right now Hypocrisy - Scrutinized, oh man, fucking awwwwweeeeesoooome ;o
edit:is it only me or all want lord worm's oral 'farting'(read growls) back to Cryptopsy?Yesterday I've listened to new album The Unspoken King and these new vocals sucks for me

justa came back from Legacy Fest in Serbia :) I went over there for Destruction, Obituary, Testament,Septic Flesh, Unleashed and Vader... Obituary where a HUGE disappointment .... one of my fav bands but after the fifth song it was really stupid and I'm starting to think that Raplh Santolla is the reason ... I really like his work with Deicide but I TOTALLY dislike his heavy metal style of playing the Obituary solos...

Destruction .... what can I say ... I've seen Destruction 3 times in Bulgaria but this time ... THEY JUST RAPPED THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYONE in the hall ^_^


Obituary as I said where a disappointment ... They started off with one of my fav songs - Find the Arise - and they kept a cool feel up until the fifth song... after that they where like *yawn*...


what was really a surprise for me was UNLEASHED ... DAMN ... I saw those guys live and I still can't believe they are SO GOOOOOOOOD...

REALLY happy with Bombarder - Serbian band you guys should check them out !!!! Bombarder are a really good band


and most of all TESTAMENT !

a dream come true - I saw Paul Bostaph play the drums ^____^

Vader- thay did just *ANOTHER* gig and that was it .... -.-

Septic Flesh - not as powerful as I imagined ... but they were good :)
