HU vs NE close spawns (1087 reads, 17 replies)
I have been having a butload of trouble vs humans in close spawn locations who will immediatly push or quick creep to lvl 2 and then push my base.

Basicly I put up 5-6 AOWs, try to focus the peasants with my DH/archers, and surround my aow with repair wisps. However the good humans will simply cancel my aow's use pathing between my moonwells and his towers to dodge my DH with his peasants, and make it impossible for me to take down the towers.

I have tried focusing the AM and even got him down a few times, but realy he doesnt even need the AM to get the towers up and he will just revive his hero whole his towers pound my base.

I try asking people how I can possibly stop it, and the usual answer I get is 'idono' and a guy who was 10-0 basicly told me he never looses with the strat no matter who he plays.

However I havent seen a pro rep of a human doing this. So whats up?

anyway...mass aow like u did...but try getting warden...and wisps to dispell water elements...

am wont do shit...at lvl 2...kill peasants...shadowstrike and knife...will pwn this...or u can simply do tavern build and get a beastmaster or dark ranger...

DH is underpowered vs HU's. A Warden can also stop expo'ing efforts by the HU more effectively. 1 wave of knives can kill multiple peasants repairing a tower or something instantly.

One kinda cool trick with dh is that you pick evasion first. That way you can tank much more and all your moonjuice is used for healing, not replenishing mana. At least moon uses that on tr. DR is a bit risky since the human can cancel your late altar with militia.

Some replays of your games should help pointing out the flaws in your gameplay.

Kinda hard to know if you're going to get tower rushed when you start training your hero. I'd say, if you're going DH, stick with your DH and don't pick your skill until you know what you're facing. Immolation could be a good choice to make short work of the militias/peasents.

I have been going imo first vs tower rush, however I have been told its not worth it because of the extra moonwell juice it uses.

I will see if I can find a rep of me loosing to a tower rush, although its not generaly something I save =[

when you scout close spawns on tr vs human you know that you will be tower rushed about 99% if not t1, on t2 for sure build second aow even befor he try to rush you, put your second moon somewhere deep in your base or far as possible from the human ( in your base ofc ) so he cant destroy it and **** you. if you use dh just mana burn am try to pick up most of the peasants and dispel waters, put again extra aow`s if you start your tek stop it. it`s hard to stop and you cant stop it every time.

wawrden is the best choice in 1v1 against human , if u are towered or not .. its simply imba .. too much for the am to handle

well,choose imo on your dh...kill the peasants
Tech quick, and build AP. Mass wisps for repair and detonate water elementals.
Harass the peasants as much you can. Making a extra AoW can be a good idea. Start make huntress. After a while glaive throwers(be ready to repair them). However just try to play as normal as possible under the push, for example go and buy healing scrolls and proc. scrolls. You can also choose of course warden and fok and ss the peasants. Be sure to scout and prepare if you think he come to tower rush. It isn`t harder

haha .... moons and Aow ... more wisps and DH on evasion ... so u dont need to use his mana at all ... focus on peasants and AM ... GL

anyone know some good reps of warden vs human?

I have actualy managed to beat a couple of the t1 rushes on tr/terenas just by stoping t2 tech, massing wisps, and building moonwells and aow's EVERYWHERE..

But now I keep geting owned by the t2 rush when they have a second hero and casters soon to slow my crap and steal my rejuv... and my base is usualy so full I dont have much room to make aow. I think im just gonna start geting warden every game and use some kinda fok build if it turns out to be close spawns.

Realy starting to get frustrating, I dont know what im doing wrong early game but im 40% win in games 0-10 mins, 48% win in games 10-20 mins, and 74% win in games 20-30 mins.

Might be my archer micro just sucks but I dont think thats all of it.

most time it depends on the positions of worker,
and on tr normally all take DH first!
If ur DH is outta your altar dont skill and w8
train 1 archer and send ur aow back in your base (if u have it near the lvl4 turtle and the 2 lvl 1 turtles)!
After that try to build up an mw BUT it must be hided (very back in base or near tavern or smth like that!
Try to block the milita coming with 1 wisps , that gives you about 5-6 secs more and they get faster to peasants again!
And then u've to dispel the 2 we's with 3wips immidiately!! Best would be to hit 2We's PLUS AM^^!
but before build aup a 2nd aow and thats it!
